Are we now in full blown fascist totalitarianism?

Please remind me of what death squads he has been using to crush all public discourse
Do you need it to get that bad before you do any thing to stop it? Or do you think someone else will stop him? Are you nieve or lazy?
Calling Trump a fascist I think is a good example of leftist extremist rhetoric. United States is nowhere near a totalitarian regime.
Too fucking close for me.
Trump is nowhere near as bad as any of the fascist dictators of Europe. Its laughable that you think this is fascism.
They started slow. Rump is moving faster than they did.

But most importantly, Trump doesn't have a fascist political agenda and doesn't argue for fascist policies.
'Fascist' is quicker than/shorthand for 'totalitarin would-be tyrant'.
The telltale sign of a dead democracy is if people stop discussing politics privately. Because it's pointless.
IIDB is a relitivly safe space. I DO see a reluctance to critisise Rump in several media outlets and in public. I have been shut down from organizing in my building. (I posted about it before)
Quoting Rump: "And I made a comment to one of them and it got no response."
Perhaps they just don't know English.

Where do you come up with idiocies like this from?
Has any society ever "stopped discussing politics privately"? I do hear that it "used to be that we didn't discuss politics" in the U.S. but I think that's a myth anyway, or at least overblown.

You can travel in the world and talk to people who live in different countries. It's a thing.

Its funny that Russians discuss more American politics than Russian politics.

Discussing Russian politics the wrong way can get you a visit from the police, or worse.

Nooo the police are nice everywhere and never abuse power anywhere. They are a group full of very nice and generous people. You can always trust them, no matter what.
