Baraboo High School in Wisconsin: sieg heil!

Ya, they were all just waving totally synchronously and it just randomly happened that the picture snapped when their arms were all up and it was a really high resolution camera, so there was no blurring of hands as they were moving back and forth.

That's a shutter speed thing, not a resolution thing (yes, I'm a camera N**i).

I think there's an "it's funny to be a Nazi" thing and then there's a "let's make fun of being a Nazi" thing. The former is an okay kind of thing, but what is going on with the latter? Being a Nazi isn't fun. It's derision-worthy. We have a problem right now with our culture where things are moving in the wrong direction, with this stuff being normalized ala "there are good people on both sides." I doubt most of these kids are Nazis but participating in this culture shift is not a good thing. If some people see them as budding Nazis and others retort with "you just hate white males. Nanny nanny booboo," that's not a good direction for society either.

Huh???

Of course shutter speed can freeze motion, but it can't synchronize the wave so everyone's hands are in the same position.

Well now, that's disturbing. Nazis are now becoming the counterculture cool thing to be, as these kids have no real appreciation for what Nazis really were, and just see everyone slightly out of line being called Nazis.
