Hello,

Can any of you recommend a good book title dealing with blue whales, another for coral reefs, and another for dolphins? Thanks.

You could always go with the obvious:
1. Call the book dealing with blue whales - "Blue Whales".
2. Call the book dealing with coral reefs - "Coral Reefs".
3. Call the book dealing with dolphins - "Dolphins".

You're welcome.... :D

Lol, I noticed the ambiguity too, but it is decipherable. Hints from within tips the scales.

This book title has a bad blue whale problem.

This book title has a delinquent coral reef problem.

This book title has a ne'er do well dolphin problem.

This guy has a phrasing problem.

Alright. I'll try again.

I am looking for books whose subject matter is blue whales.

I am also looking for books whose subject matter is coral reefs.

It would be nice if someone could give me the name of a book that is about dolphins.

Please, please, please. I am trying to learn about life in the Ocean and you guys are supposed to be the smartest people on the net as far as discussion boards open to the general public go. Surely one of you is a scientist or some type of expert.

:(:(:(

Ya'll stop picking on me.

What level of detail are you interested in?

A general undergraduate text for an introductory Marine Biology course might be just what you are looking for - or it might be FAR too detailed; or FAR too general.

https://scholar.google.com.au/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=blue+whale&btnG=

https://scholar.google.com.au/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=coral+reef&btnG=

https://scholar.google.com.au/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=dolphin&btnG=

That's about 1.1 million books, articles and papers, most of them (I expect) FAR too detailed for your needs.

At the other end of the spectrum, https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Whale-Jenni-Desmond/dp/1592701655 might be suitable for an eight year old, but likely lacks the depth an adult reader would prefer.

Similarly, https://www.amazon.com/Incredible-Coral-Reef-Another-Active-Learning/dp/0964074214

And https://www.amazon.com/National-Geographic-Kids-Everything-Dolphins/dp/1426308426

Your request simply isn't specific enough for a suitable response to be possible.
