Bruce Arena appointed head coach of USA soccer team

I'm not surprised Klinsmann was emptied, his record of late was not impressive. I would have fired him for leaving Donovan out of the 2014 World Cup squad. But anyway, Bruce Arena has been appointed and I hope he can turn things around as the USA is not in a good position to qualify for the next WC finals.

Yeah, a lot of people who worship the ground that the underacheiver Landon Donavon walks on were angry. I had a bit more faith and the team did very well in a very tough group and were exited by a great Belgium squad.

I think Klinsmann's biggest flaw was never sticking with a game plan and always changing things up.

But anyway, Bruce Arena has been appointed and I hope he can turn things around as the USA is not in a good position to qualify for the next WC finals.

We'll see. I don't expect Arena to offer more than Klinsmann provided.

I have no idea if Klinsmann made good or bad decisions, but is it bad that I'm sad to see him go anyway? I loved watching him when he played.
