Just to reiterate: while there are people (mostly Muslims) who use the term Islamophobia when it clearly doesn't apply just to deflect legitimate criticism, there is also a lot of acts of abuse, vandalism, and violence that clearly crosses the line into shocking acts of bigotry.

I find it odd that the rightist atheists and Christians who are usually quick to criticize all Muslims for anything bad done by any individual Muslim or group of Muslims is strangely silent now that someone is making legitimate criticisms of one of the wealthiest Muslim-majority nations.

It's almost as if they don't actually care about human rights and are just interested in getting cheap shots that validate dehumanizing a demographic.

Anyway, good for you, Canada, and fuck you, Saudi Arabia.

Picking a fight against Canada, especially a moral one, is rarely ever going to be a winner. What is odd is how out of the blue and reactionary this came about.

Why is that surprising? Trump does things like that all the time. It's a perfectly normal thing for dictators to do.

I honestly find it surprising that Canada is finding issue with the Saudis. Normally the Trudeau regime is all in favor of radical Islam in all its forms. Is MBS getting too soft for Jihad Justin's taste?

Sitting down, minding her own business, not bothering anyone. Typical Canuck.
