Apparently something happened outside the US Capitol Building and now it is in lockdown. Absolutely no idea what is going on, other than something happened. Might or more likely might not have anything to do with the Capitol Bldg and Government. Could be just another violent incident in America.

Well, the Chauvin trial is getting spicy, so my money is on that. 2020 already jumped the shark
 
Hopefully a Novak situation and a mistake, but probably not likely. If intentional, Trump devotee, Arab terrorist, ANTIFA nut? America is starting to have too many brands of violent idiots.

CNN reporting the rammer was shot after exiting the car with a knife.
 
Prediction: if the attacker turns out to be MAGA, mainstream media and people on here won't be able to shut up about it for months. If it turns out to be #BLM/Antifa/Muslim it will be quickly buried and Don Lemon will be "but January 6th ..."

Yet, here you are already doing exactly the thing you are complaining about (ignoring the event, while "whattabout").

The reason it will be forgotten about quickly, though, if it's someone on the left: the left won't die on the hill of trying to defend idiots. But still here you are dying on hills to defend MAGA.

So it was a black dude who was into the Nation of Islam. But methinks this looks more like suicide by cop.

Just offering the prediction based on how the media is harping incessantly on January 6th but ignore left-wing riots and attacks on (federal) government buildings.

Only a small fraction of MAGAs attacked the Capitol. And the Left is still defending Antifa and #BLM, despite the violence these groups have caused over the years.

By the way, the attacker was a 25 year old black supremacist with Nation of Islam.

So of course, the attack is deemed "not terrorism" by the media and it will be quickly forgotten, unlike January 6th. :rolleyes:

If it should turn out to be a black perp, there will be no shutting OAN, NewsMax or FOX up for months. If it's a furriner, they'll harp of that for years - they NEED the xenophobes.
If it's the typical white supremacist extremist, it's just yet another among literally hundreds of pending cases of white supremacist violence and will be barely a blip.
I predict - while we're predicting for free and for the record, that it is a lone wolf with very real personal and mental problems either consciously or subconsciously trying to commit suicide-by-cop, and won't even register a blip.

January 6th was a planned and orchestrated attack of the Capitol where dozens of police were injured and one was killed.

People showed up by no coincidence in helmets and flak jackets carrying spears. There were people all over with bullhorns directing the attack.

They talked about "1776". What the hell does that insanity mean except planned violence?

They were not a lone crazy nut.

Lone crazies can come from any political persuasion.

They don't mean anything. People carrying spears committing violence talking about "1776" and "Fight for Trump" are a massive problem.

Especially when the ring leaders are walking around freely.
