Wouldn't the woman sharing these photos with NY Post be considered revenge porn? Why is this woman not being prosecuted? Are revenge porn statutes only there to protect women?
 
I think it should depend on if the pics were unsolicited or not.

Imagine all of the genders of all involved were reversed:

- There was a male aide of a male presidential candidate and he is barely ever home.

- The male aide was married to an intense (Weiner's speeches are damn good even if you disagree) woman in congress.

- The wife sends out lots of crotch shots (or videos doing kegel exercises) to get guys to bang her.

What would be the fallout? Would this woman have more sympathy than AW?

I wonder if the woman who released the pictures should have just gone to the news and only SAID that he sent pictures and not have SHOWN the pictures. Also should have had a lawyer and notary public along with the press confirm the picture was sent without releasing it.

Whether the Daily Fail story is real or not, it's a pretty safe bet that Weiner is very much a sleaze in his personal life.
