Child support laws run amok

I don't get what it is with all the 'innocent until proven guilty' stuff.

Since when did being a father become a crime?

The way Ravensky describes the law, it protects everyone and merely asks that anyone wanting to change the status quo provide some simple proof.

Except it isn't. Civil cases are supposed to be decided by a preponderance of the evidence.

In this case we have no evidence that he's the father. How can you decide for a position with zero evidence???

Don't forget the law.

And I'm saying the law is out of date and needs fixing.
You have failed to show how it is "out of date and needs fixing", and your proposed "fixes" cause more problems than it cures.

Is he married to her? Yes. He is the legal father in the eyes of the State. This is for HIS protection. He has the option of disestablishing paternity, and it doesn't even need to cost him anything at all.

And how do you reach the conclusion that it won't cost him anything???
Legal Aid is available

Anyway, I don't give a hoot about the marriage. DNA gives the answer, use it!
I don't care what you don't give a hoot about, but yes... DNA is the answer. The husband needs to use it.

That's a summary of the relevant law, not someone who will help you in court. Or a source of paying for the DNA test.

That is a brochure for the Legal Aid organization that will help him in court at little to no cost to him

Then link to evidence they'll help.
I did, but to repeat:

Loren demanding a citation :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: Fuck I can't breathe because I am laughing too hard :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:
