Whoops. Did I say "white supremacist"? I'm sorry. Of course I meant to use the politically correct term "alt-right" to avoid triggering conservatives and libertarians (who are totally different, I swear!)
Anyway, this seems like as good a time as any to remind everyone that Christians are statistically more likely to be racist than atheists. Not that I would suggest this counts as supporting evidence. Complaining about racism in any way, shape, or form tends to get certain people angry and defensive.
This weekend, the World Congress of Families (WCF) meets in Moldova for their annual conference. The conference will include panels on gender identity, faith and politics, motherhood, anti-abortion efforts, and George Soros, among others. The intermarriage between far-right politics and religious positions is obvious and unsurprising. What may be less obvious is how this brings together Christian fundamentalists, alt-right activists, and Russian interests.
