Christian reviewer refuses to believe in links between KKK, Christianity

KKK - Wikipedia

The second and third incarnations of the Ku Klux Klan made frequent references to America's "Anglo-Saxon" blood, hearkening back to 19th-century nativism.[18] Although members of the KKK swear to uphold Christian morality, virtually every Christian denomination has officially denounced the KKK.

The KKK has always been loud about being Christians. The "White man's religion" as they like to style it. This clown is either a liar or is abysmally ignorant.

"True Christian" is probably what they thought , and some would ask : "Did they not know of the verse Matt 7:21-23 ?"

Matthew 7:21-23

I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

I always loved that verse. Big LOL, because every “Christian” thinks it doesn’t apply to them.
Learner, you probably think it doesn’t apply to you.
Except, oops! “All fall short in th eyes of God.”
Meaning, either they are all christians or none of them are.

Why do you think; I would think such a verse would not apply to me (should I deliberately and knowingly fall foul to evil ways)?

Exactly.
You think you have to choose to be evil for this to apply.

It's saying that many who THINK they're doing good, doing the God/Jesus thing correctly, are in error. Even if they are able to perform GREAT THINGS in Jesus' name, they're doomed because they dot the wrong I's and cross the wrong T's.

Just because something calls them selves christian or atheist or buddhist does mean they act as they should.
I will still apply "By their fruits you will know them".
If they do not act as their self-labelled suggests them I am under no obligation to believe that their claim is true.
Trust but verify.
