I saw that. Thank you. It IS hilarious, and so spot on. That's today's evangelical for sure. When I was growing up in the 70s, the evangelicals were mainly televangelists and little churches in the boonies that were considered odd or old fashioned. I grew up in a suburb of DC and I always felt like my family was the odd one out in terms of our three-days-a-week Pentecostal church that didn't have running water or toilets and was in another county. Now the no makeup, girls don't wear pants, everyone calls each other Sister and Brother churches, I'm not sure they even exist anymore. Now it's blond, suburban Karens who dress like Divas. My church would have been appalled.
