It is common knowledge that nobody ever accidentally makes a Nazi symbol, so therefore this was intentional on the part of the stage designer.

Why doesn't anyone on the "left" (sic) think she should have to atone for this?

Neither did I. I would have never designed such an awkward shape for the stage.
