Daesh Militant Executes Mom in the Square. Why not?

Ya, it's important that we don't forget that he's the real victim in all this.

I'm not saying he's a victim in all of this. However, in this particular case he's as much victim as perpetrator.

Except we don't know that.

For all we know, the son is a narcissistic ungrateful murderous pig who hated his mother.
For all we know, the mother was a narcissistic, abusive murderous pig for whom a quick death was too good.

IOW, maybe he wanted to do it, maybe she had it coming.

Ugly as this is he probably didn't have a choice. If he didn't execute her he probably would have been executed and then someone else would have executed her.

Sounds like a choice to me. And it's telling how deep the brain rot goes if he did not take this choice instead.

An Islamic State militant executed his own mother in front of a post office in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa this week after she tried to persuade him to leave the extremist group, Syrian activists there said on Friday.

The fighter, Ali Saqr, 21, killed his mother in front of several hundred people for what the Islamic State called apostasy,
