I've decided Andras Schiff is a better interpreter of Beethoven than Barenboim.

I've decided Andras Schiff is a better interpreter of Beethoven than Barenboim.
What's your rationale?
Mainly rhythm. Schiff is much more natural in his approach to ritards and rubato, and his phrasing is cleaner.

I listened to both this morning and definitely preferred Schiff but couldn't have put it into words.
