Greetings! Time for the annual fundraiser.Sorry for the late update, we normally start this early in October. Funds are needed to keep II and IIDB online. I was not able to get an IIDB based donations addon implemented for this year, I will make sure to have that done for next year. You can help support II in several ways, please visit the Support Us page for more info. Or just click:

I will try to track all donations from IIDB. Many thanks to those that have already donated. The current total is $923. If everyone dontated just $5, we would easily hit our goal.

Currently I am in the midst of rewatching a favorite TV series, Smallville. It is about Clark Kent growing up, prior to becoming Superman. In one of the episodes I just watched, it was surprising to hear the name “Trump” mentioned a few times. It has me wondering what other places in entertainment and pop culture he has appeared in, or been referenced. Host of the Apprentice of course. He had a cameo in Home Alone 2. I was annoyed that his name came up in Bruce Almighty. He was part of a “Battle of the Billionaires” storyline in the WWE ~20 years ago. Any others that you know?

He appeared in an episode of The Jeffersons when they went to a casino.

The Mel Brooks movie Life Stinks had Brooks playing a very Trump like real estate mogul. Very likely they based it on him.

Hey, if you want to really feel uncomfortable, look at all the times Rudy Giuliani appeared in a favourable light in the 00s.

The actor John Shea played Lex Luthor during the 1990's show "Lois & Clark". According to his IMDB profile:

"Used Donald Trump and Richard III as character studies in preparing himself for the role of nemesis Lex Luthor in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993)".

Urban legend: DJT played Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi (1983). However, I will always think of Jabba as the avatar of DJT, and vice versa.

True: Trump has 26 acting credits on imdb, including lots of TV appearances and a scattering of films. He's in Home Alone 2 and The Little Rascals.

But my favorite Trump appearance isn't listed on imdb, and isn't really a film credit. But it means more, so much more. In the Hughes brothers 1999 documentary American Pimp, he comes up in a conversation with a chubby pimp named Bishop Don (full street name, Bishop Don Magic Juan.) Bishop shows them his house, which is as gaudy as he is, and displays photos where he's posing with Marion Berry, Al Green, Ike Turner, and finally..."That's Donald Trump. Me an' Donald Trump." Yep, it's #45, back in the 90s, just where he was meant to be, in the company of a pimp.
