This is a confluence of signs that the ancient prophets told us to watch for. Can the end times be far off? The only similar confluence of portentous signs that I can recall is when Ash Wednesday coincided with the festival of the phallocentric, priapic god Baalzakon. That was the same day, as believers remember, that doctors found a (benign) polyp in Jerry Falwell's colon. And that polyp, according to revelation, (allegedly) became Joel Osteen.
