As others have said it has more value with the bullet holes. Perhaps it can be replicated to include the bullet holes and placed in Richmond beside the statue of General Lee. Another copy can be placed at the Confederate Courthouse and anywhere racists go to get their sick fix.

Why anyone would begrudge Till a memorial is beyond me. The lady who accused him of whistling at her and saying saying something offensive to her admitted he never did it anyway. Why she was allowed to still walk freely is a good question to ask.

I've lived with such folk. They hate Lincoln, love Jefferson Davis, long to return to segregation where they can have niggers step aside for them on the sidewalk and stay out of their parks. Such folk don't have rational faculties. And they want to hunt porch monkeys. And for the most part they are hard working people.
I think subconsciously they fear other groups getting ahead. They need to know and be reassured constantly that there is someone who is inferior to them and that their hate is justified.

This vandalism attacked a replacement memorial for the original memorial which was shot up as well. So what do you think the odds are that this a false flag attack?

They want to symbolically hurt their victim all over again so that the rest of the world knows that they are a bunch of violent savages unfit to participate in civilized society. We wouldn't want the outside world getting the wrong idea and think we're capable of basic human decency or shame.
