Epstein, Kiddies, And Trump. Oh, My

The 6 Republicans on the Rules Committee just voted to block the release of the Epstein files.

Virginia Foxx (NC)
Michelle Fischbach (MN)
Erin Houchin (IN)
Nick Langworthy (NY)
Austin Scott (GA)
Morgan Griffith (VA)
Well, there's six Republicans who don't trust him to walk through the fire unscathed.

Pedo can't understand why people care about pedos.

I see lots of MAGAts wanting Rapey McForehead, er, sorry, Matt Gaetz to head an investigation.

One pedo investigating another. Sure, what could go wrong?

Jarhyn posted this deposition of a woman who met Donald Trump when she was 13 years old. I am posting it again, for anyone who didn't click yet.

Hard-core MAGGOTs will refuse to watch it and claim, unseen, it to be a lie. But I hope open-minded people will click and watch. Is the woman credible?
The question isn't particularly of interest as Trump was caught bragging about sexually assaulting women... and still got elected in 2016. So by his own admission... on tape... he is a criminal. He was also found civilly liable for a sexual assault.

These things, as important as they really are... don't matter right now. What he is doing to Executive Branch, the US Economy, and the United States in general, is much more important.

Fondling a 30 year-old is one thing. Slapping around a 13 year-old and raping away her virginity is another.
MAGGOTs whine about the importance of "character" and "family values."
I fantasize about MAGGOTs growing a brain so they can smell the shit of their Dear Leader.

I'd take that story with a ginormous grain of salt. You guys really need to do a more thorough job of checking this stuff out. Its starting to get tedious:

Indeed, anyone who comes out with a salacious accusation against Trump would easily get the time of day on a YouTube video. But these tales are rarely ever verifiable. But really, when it is that salacious, one can easily put it aside as it would have carried in the press if there was any backing available.

Speaking of tedious, we learned recently that Trump's Uncle, the longest serving* professor ever in the history of MIT, who had three degrees in nuclear, chemical, and math*, had Theodore Kaczynski as a student*, and Trump talked to his Uncle about him* about how good of a student the guy was.

Politicians are known for spin and taking liberties, but they typically don't make up entire fictions like they are Brian WIlliams or Mike Barnacle or George Santos, for absolutely no reason. And if I didn't see the coverage of it, I would have had to double source the claim, because it just seems to unnecessary stupid and needless of a lie to bring up out of the blue in the first place. Talk about tedious!

The story is probably false but it hasn't actually been debunked. The alleged victim claims to have been threatened with death. Potential witnesses may have signed NDA's or also been threatened.

The Snopes article itself states
Lubow's involvement does not prove that Johnson's claims are false or that she does not exist. However, it does show that the claims attributed to this person were aggressively promoted and aided by someone who has a professional history of using individuals to create fictional salacious drama..

Probably false? Sure! Just like 99% of the bullshit vomited from the orifices of Trump and his top MAGGOTs.

Meanwhile, in the weirdest scandal ever, MAGA is pressuring Trump hard on Epstein. The Wall Street Journal reported on a letter Trump allegedly sent Epstein for his birthday, with language that sounds Trumpish... and self-incriminating. Trump threatened to sue the generally conservative paper, and now is telling the Justice Department to release Grand Jury testimony... which isn't remotely enough for what the base want. They want it all. They want everyone to fall.

The DoJ isn't saying if they have their letter in their possession. The Biden Admin DoJ would likely have had it as well if they do. The letter isn't so bad that it is self convicting but it certainly doesn't look good. Liberals have long given up on Trump being held accountable for anything he has done or is doing, but MAGA apparently really cares about Epstein and are angry that Trump told them to fuck off. Yes, these people actually thought he cared about them.

It seems impossible for Trump to be taken down by something where there would seem to be very little to no admissible evidence, in a venue that has an absurdly protective GOP around him. The weirdest part to me, is the Wall Street Journal taking the lead in this. Does this tell us anything?

Economist released a poll about Epstein file release.

Overall: 79% yes - 5% no

People that voted for Trump: 83% yes, 3% no.

Americans usually can't agree on anything at these margins.

Perhaps the Epstein files is what will unite us, at least to some extent. I heard some guy on MSNBC earlier this morning say, "The Liberals were right. We were fooled by Trump". Well duh! It's about time more of you realized you were manipulated by a lying psychopath.

I might gift a very long article that was an interview with Ezra Klein and someone who's name I've already forgotten. One thing they mentioned that I had never thought of is that the files might not contain much of anything and that would also add to Trump's previous lies when he said they would reveal a lot. If I thought any of you would actually read it, I'l link it, but it's very long and I doubt many of us have the attention span to read an extremely long interview.

I don't think Vance saying "Where is this letter?" is doing Trump any favors. WSJ didn't make this up out of whole cloth as Trump would have his once faithful followers believe. Vance isn't saying this out of a sense loyalty to Trump. He knows there's some there there.
Politico said:
“Forgive my language but this story is complete and utter bullshit. The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it,” Vance said in a social media post. “Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?”

The lawsuit has been filed.

According to the Chris Hayes show, people are sharing numerous example of Trump doing drawings. Som eof them, I have to admit, are not bad.

Hitler was a failed artists too.

Too Godwin?
