The ex-girlfriend should have told the police that a petty drug dealer occasionally stopped by there, and left a package once. Then the police would have gotten a search warrant and smashed the front door in... Oh wait, Warner was white...they would have then knocked nicely and served warrant.

You're assuming the cops wouldn't dismiss the ex's claim out of hand. I'd give it even money.
