I suppose if you equate the consequences of the laws of physics with choices made by human beings, that makes sense. But you are still admitting that the outcome in this case need not have been a killing.Please point to place in the Arizona criminal code were doing stupid things means someone must be executed.
It doesn't mean you MUST be executed, but it does increase your chances of something bad happening.
Kinda like trying to excuse someone getting killed for surfing on the top of their car at speed:
"Show me where doing stupid things means you must be killed..."
