It's really a money thing.
Bush and Clinton are big name brands. Investors--I mean, donors, feel they know what they are getting if they invest---I mean donate--to either candidate's brand.
And the truth is that a lot of people will jump on board with whoever they think has the best chance of winning and who also best fits their ideology. Or idiotology. I don't think Bush is really a contender any more.

Biden's machine is promoting him...kind of a submarine promotion....out of the spotlight so he doesn't have to promise anything to the people. Actually he was avoiding the question Anderson Cooper put to Hillary. (About just being similar to a third term of Obama.) You offend the American people by even suggesting that Trump has a chance. If he does, we are in deep poo poo!
Truthfully, the biggest appeal of both Trump and Biden is that they both give the appearance of speaking their own mind. I think that Biden genuinely does. I don't think that Trump speaks anything except whatever he thinks will give his brand more money. I think Trump would resign within 2 years of winning the election, to be very honest.
Both men are really smart. Biden is also intelligent. Trump is rich, which keeps him from having to develop any genuine intelligence.

Toni: You may be right about Biden being smart. It is just that whatever smartness he has he has not been using it for the people of this country. Trump is a racist. Neither of these guys need to be anywhere near the presidency. The mainstream media is going to fight Sanders every inch of the way. It is the military industrialists who would be supportive of Biden if their girl Hillary doesn't make it. I saw a little piece on CBS about how Biden has a secret plan to get elected. Let us hope he keeps it secret for a few more years till he is too old to run. Biden may just have things all lined up. I frankly think he is a scary loose cannon, really interested in military domination. Take a good hard look at him before you think of voting for him. Check where his campaign money comes from. It isn't your next door neighbor.

Biden can't be defended by saying the Republican candidates are all far worse, which they are.

I can't say I remember all the previous cases of someone saying an infamous plagiarist "spoke their mind" but it's possible I am not as obsessed with tracking what other people post as you are.
