Gay marriage will cause 900,000 abortions

same-sex marriage "undermines" traditional marriage, which leads to lower marriage rates.
I still never understand this.
I married. I married my wife seven years after I received my first invitation to a gay wedding.
I have no reason to think that if the gay wedding had been legal, it would have made any difference in my choice to marry my wife.

How in the hell is the nature of my neighbors' relationship having any impact on my relationship?

It makes absolutely no sense, and that is where I would also question them.

Ultimately you're a statistic in a survey and some sort of marital result summary. But hey. since gays have been around since Old Testament times and marriage rates have been dropping since they became fodder for study since the beginning of the industrial age and gay rights are only now after all that decay getting traction I suggest they would be very hard pressed to show any effect is there were one.

I'm more interested in ring of Saturn effects.

Well, Saturn is the gayest planet by far, so the results won't really be different.

I thought Uranus was gay. Uranus isn't gay? Let's talk about what's inside Uranus. I hear its mostly something rock hard. Saturn is just all gas in there. No wait. I was wrong. I checked, and there is nothing rock hard within Uranus. It is all gas.

I thought Uranus applied to both gays and non gays

Gas from Uranus is a turn-off, butt I suspect that's the same for gays and straights, alike.

Oh, a teaching point.

See, now in that cartoon, Linus tried to paraphrase Lucy.
But no effort was made to retain or even understand her original meaning.
Instead, he's just trying to lose her meaning and insult her. So, not a paraphrase.

Bigger army and more war leads to more abortions --> Women who are married to a soldier won't see their husband for a long time if they are in another country, leading to more affairs, which lead to more abortions due to accidents.

Excessive drinking lead to more abortions --> Drunk people make more mistakes during sex

My proposal: Cut military spending, stop sending soldiers abroad and prohobit alcohol to cut down on the number of abortions.

Well, I've always been very prohobbit.

I know the US birth rate dipped during WWII, explained as the wives being faithful to missing husbands. Is there any evidence that the abortion rate rose during that time due to affairs?

Shopping centers had not been developed so you couldn't go down grab some Cinnabon and get the baby out like you can today... according to several GOPers.

Yeah, there won't be official records of abortions or credit card receipts for reproductive services. But were there more arrests, or a surge of women bleeding to death in back alleys or something?

If this is a real problem, that deploying the men leads to nasty and unwanted abortions, then we could just make sure everyone gets at least one weekend back home every six months so the wives can claim that it's his baby. "Born 9 pounds 6 ounces...and, uh, three months premature!"
