GMO Safety

It's the business interests that I don't trust. Cutting corners, sometimes engaging outright fraud in order to sell a product and turn a profit. The desire for Profit being the driver of many a dodgy business practice.

Is the 'alternative' medicine, 'all natural', and supplement industry immune to that?

There are probably very few enterprises that are immune from human nature and the desire for profit. But maybe I've become overly cynical about the human condition.

Fist, GMO is a tech, and the glyphosate-producing produce is just a fraction of it.

Because of this ridiculous anti-science movement, there are GMO crops that could be a huge help to certain third world countries that are being held back just so that Whole Foods can sell more alternative medicine quack cures, GMO-free meat, and fat-free sugar.

Second, the only scientifically proven negative effect of glyphosate-producing GMO produce is that it will eventually lead to weeds that evolve a resistance to glyphosate. That's it. That's the worst thing anyone can prove about the scary scary glyphosate-producing GMO: that we will eventually have to stop using it because of evolution.

There is no scientific basis for any of this anti-GMO crap. It's just a bunch of nonsense pushed by people because if they can make people doubt evidence-based science, then people will be more inclined to buy health products that are not based on evidence (namely alternative medicine).
