Congratulations on jumping from the frying pan to the fire.Groceries are not a major concern for me. Restoring crime laws, restoring girls rights in sports in title IX, ending gender affirmation policies eapecially ones that can take children from a parent (!), dismantling dei and marginalized (xyz) community identity nonsense, curbing useless wars, shrinking government. Just common sense. It was tried their way and it fails...big time.
"Restoring crime laws"? You mean the system of punishment without trial that was caused by the bail system? In many cases pleading guilty resulted in less actual punishment than proving you were innocent.
"Girls rights in sports"? Where are they being threatened?
"Gender affirmation policies"? How does it harm you?
"ones that can take children from a parent"? Yeah, there comes a point where child abuse warrants removal. Better than getting killed or driven to suicide.
"DEI" I agree on.
"curbing useless wars"? In other words, allow evil to prevail. The only war we are at all involved in is in trying to prevent genocide. Yesterday we chose the path of genocide.
"shrinking government"? In other words, put grandma on the ice floe. The top four are SS/Medicare/Interest/Military. They want to spend more on the military. To spend less on interest is to default and screw the US big time. (This might be intentional, though--we saw it 100 years ago, the economy cratered and the ultra-rich bought it up for a song.) Thus it's Social Security and Medicare.
Note that when something is "just common sense" but disputed the odds that it really is just common sense are about zero. "Just common sense" in such a context always means a simplistic answer to a complex problem.
You list yourself as female. What are you going to do if you get an ectopic pregnancy? Or an incomplete miscarriage? Both are basically death sentences without treatment--but treatment will be forbidden.
36 is a joke. Drug court is a form of compelled addiction treatment--something with basically no chance of working. In CA, a bill to make crime have consequences again ( prop 36) is passing by huge margins. Kamala supported it like every other insane progressive policy ruining California.
Yesterday, Kamala was asked about how she voted on prop 36 (making theft and drug crimes have serious consequences again), she would not answer saying she didn't want to sway the vote either way. She can't answer on crime, or equity, or trans surgeries.... because her actual positions are all VERY unpopular to most Americans.
Answer on crime? That's typically higher in red states than blue?
Trans surgeries? How does it harm you?
