Hillary and the gender card ...

You are responsible for your posts and the title of your OP, not the Guardian.
And I stand by my claims that Hillary campaign is playing the gender card. Just like they did in 2008.
It is (and was) disingenuous to attribute a quote to someone when he or she did not say it.
As I explained, the quote did not include the entire headline so it was neither disingenuous nor was I misattributing anything.

What is disingenuous is your Clintonesque parsing of semantics to try to convince people that Albright's "special place in hell" did not refer to lack of support for Hillary.
Here is the relevant quote.
"And you have to help Hillary Clinton will always be there for you, and just remember, there is a special place in Hell for women who don't help each other"
Video here. The meaning of Albright's words could not be clearer. I mean what do you think she meant?

Just like it's no surprise you defend her playing the gender card.

It shows those people hold no better cards to play.

If her only play is to appeal to low information voters like this, that's a turn-off for me.

Well, he does have a pulse.

Hillary seems to have very selective appeal.

Even among democrats she can manage to lose to a young dynamic Black guy --or-- a septuagenarian with 19th century economic beliefs.

No one denies that. As I and others have pointed out, politicians of all genders, race, age, etc... play ____ (you fill in the blank) cards. It is routine. This is nothing new. And it is not new that you focus on a woman playing the woman card while ignoring all the other cards played by other candidates.

Madeline Albright did not say there was a special place in hell for women who did not support Hillary - something your posts indicates. She may have meant that, but she did not say it. As usual, you are not fooling anyone with your disingenuous "analysis".

Hillary is playing the establishment card and the Obama card as well. She was playing the inevitability card until recently.

Bernie is exactly what you need in the U.S.A., and for the very first time I envy you as a nation and wish we could vote for somebody in a major political party here in Canada.

^^^^ that

:D

So I guess so far on here everybody supports Hillary playing the gender card. Can't say I am too surprised.

Hmmm.
the only substantial woman in the race, republicans attacking women's rights at every turn, and now one of them is complaining that, gasp, a woman, is actually coming to the defense of women. Now that's rightist political jaundice beyond the yellow pale.

Just like it's no surprise you defend her playing the gender card.

And in her last debate, she tried to play her "I'm a Progressive" card. The problem is that she tossed that away a long time ago and to hear her claim she was progressive just got her a ho hum yawn from even the most average Democrat who simply knows better.

Are you suggesting she isn't a woman? ;)

Maybe John McCain is wrong and Hillary is Chelsea's father rather than Janet Reno.

I am simply saying this woman is NOT A PROGRESSIVE. She is a corporate political pimp, proffering the body politic to her oligarch friends. She points to her "experience" when that is the last thing she would have analyzed for its effectiveness in a progressive sense. She brings band-aids to a situation that actually requires a complete operating room. She is "effective" in helping her oligarch friends avoid criticism and punishment for their wrongdoing.
