How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Damn. An estimated 300,000 casualties since the start of the invasion just to gain a sliver of barely held territory. Military blunders aren't a new thing, but no simulation would've predicted this epic fuckup.

Were it not for forced restraint due to nukes, NATO would be having lunch in the Duma and Federal Council 5 days a week.

Do you realize that the plan was to have Maidan in Moscow and have Russia split into parts to improve resource stealing?
Russian casualties are around 100K.
And do you fucking understand that territory is irrelevant in the war of attrition?

Since we have no access to your backside, is there somewhere else where can we read about this "plan"?

Apparently Russian soldiers are irrelevant too.

So, are Russians incompetent at building bridges; Or are they just incapable of securing their borders?

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cr7zjy89304o

At least seven people have died after a highway bridge collapsed in a region close to the Ukraine border, according to Russian emergency services.

The bridge in Bryansk brought down several heavy trucks on to a moving passenger train as it collapsed, with 31 people also reportedly injured.
...
In a statement posted to Telegram, Moscow Railway alleged the bridge had collapsed "as a result of illegal interference in transport operations".

Americans ones are irrelevant too then.
You wasted your soldiers in Afghanistan/Iraq/Syria to achieve less than nothing.
Unless of course your plan was to install ISIS in Syria, give Iraq to Iran, and make Taliban stronger.

Makes a point for full defeat of Ukraine.

I agree, Russia should start striking targets in Germany France and Great Britain.
Maybe idiot-voters there will finally feel that they need to elect normal people.

Yes. I’m sure that will exactly be the result. They won’t strike back. Go ahead. You do that.

Who are they? The West?

Kellog (One of the neocon degenerate in Trump administration) indicated that US is walking away from Project Ukraine. Ukraine is fucked without US money.

You really don't understand! You've never understood. You assumed that this war would last a couple weeks and that's it. Russia has backed Ukraine up against a wall. They have no other country to flee to. They have to fight. For your side, it's a war of choice. Trump is very weak. But I don't think that he'll cut off Ukraine. It's your side that won't agree to a reasonable compromise. The sanctions will get tougher.

Utter bullshit. It's you who don't understand.
You believe shit neocon media propell into your ears.
That "war" did in fact last 3 days. Ukrainian regime essentially capitulated.
Then your fucking generals looked and realized that Russia did not actually plan for a fight, there was simply not enough troops to take any bigger than 300K city, let alone Kiev.
So they send Boris with to the clown in Kiev and promised that he would win.
That's what actually happened in the beginning.
Unfortunately for you, and your criminal governments, all your plans have subsequently failed.
Every single one. And now even motherfuckers like Kellog saying that US need to pull out.
Apparently even the terrorist (yes, he is on russian list of terrorists) Lindsey Graham saying that Project "Let's defeat Russia" is over.
US simply has no capabilities to defeat Russia through Ukraine. You lost your proxy war.
Russia is militarily and economically stronger than 3 years ago. China is increasingly on our side.
They understand that defeat of Russia means they will have border with NATO.
Moreover, China promised chinese troops in Ukraine if EU decides to send their "peacekeepers"

You lost your proxy war and the only question is how to exit without losing face. Trump can still to it. Europe can't. They talked so much trash that short of complete regime change with reparations and current clowns going to prisons, I can't see how they can get off.
But then it's me, Putin is incredibly forgiving, I myself more of a Medvedev type.
I think we should have started bombing Berlin long time ago.

<sigh> You just don't understand. The above is another colossal mistake that your side has made not understanding your enemy. It's really underestimating your enemy. The US would be much better off if this war were over. There have never been NATO troops fighting in Ukraine. Yes, we send arms and support to Ukraine. Yes, we give them as much intel as we can. However, Ukrainians have been doing all the fighting. They are the ones calling the shots. They are outnumbered 3 to 1 and have far less arms. And yet they remain undefeated after 3.5 years. Our side has actually learned a lot from their tactics.

How is Lindsey Graham a "terrorist"? He wants to increase sanctions of course. But how does that make him a terrorist? If it were me, I'd dramatically increase sanctions. And any country helping or trading with Russia should have sanctions.

We underestimated US, yes. And you underestimated us.
And we are winning and you are losing.
Even neocon scumbags are now admitting that.
Trump is leaving Ukraine.

That is just delusional. The US could strike back from the sea in minutes... and then you'd be whining about the US actually attacking Russia.

Russia attacking Europe would be the dumbest fucking thing Putin could do, short of launching nuclear missiles.

You are talking like someone playing a game of chess, thinking only one turn ahead and forgetting the other player can move their pieces.

So you really think that you are fighting Americans in Ukraine? You really don't understand Ukraine? Yikes. This war is going to continue for many more years. The ironic part is that Russian invasion galvanized and united Ukraine against your side. Prior to the invasion, the country was really split 50-50. The pro-east Ukranians side could have easily won an election with the right candidate. Not anymore.

You win when you take over Ukraine. It has been years... you haven't taken over Ukraine. The US doesn't really win in this conflict. Ukraine winning merely means Russia gets out and Ukraine has to rebuild.

If you could, you would have already.

Yes, Kellog admitted that himself. And Rubio, and even your shit media is admitting it now,

Appears Ukraine did some damage at multiple airfields and took down at least one rail line. Final results to be determined, but this appears to be the biggest Ukrainian strike in Russia since Russia invaded. Ukraine claims 40 aircraft hit. "Hit" is notably not "destroyed".

One thing that I find very disturbing is how the Russia invasion has changed drone use in wars and in a bad way. Global security has become diminished due to drones.
