Human Rights Day

I don't understand how focusing on the lack of human rights increases the doing. We know human rights are violated around the world. We know this. That's why we're doing so much talking about it.

So how does talking about human rights interfere with doing something about human rights? I can't see how talking about human rights could possibly hurt our chances of doing something about human rights. At worst, it's no influence at all. At best, talking about human rights is actually helpful to the cause of doing something about human rights, to any degree at all, even to whatever degree you think it should be.

So please clarify - are we to talk less about human rights? Because I don't think it necessarily follows that talking less about human rights actually causes more to be done. I suspect the opposite is true, or at worst, changes nothing of what is already being done. In fact, I would say that at least some of the talking about human rights actually counts as doing something, especially when compared to just griping about it.
Well, I am certainly not grumbling, because this sad condition doesn't personally affect me that much. I'm simply pointing out a solemn fact. The talk ought to be about quality, like how serious global warming is supposedly the single greatest threat against human rights. Since I am a big proponent of individual power, I suggested people should competently reduce energy consumption right now on their own, instead of mainly waiting around for some odd chance that government will actually address it sincerely.

You certainly are grumbling, and not only should we not be talking about human rights, you want to tell us what we ought to be talking about.
Well, then I guess you know me better than I know myself.

Do you need a butter rum? That might help you to unpucker when people start talking about human rights, because we're gonna keep talking about human rights.
I don't drink, but maybe I'm supposed to, given that I probably also don't know how to decide for myself either.

Mostly talk with scarce action.
Assuming that is true, what relevance does it have to Human Rights Day?
You're right, we shouldn't talk about human rights, or lack there of on Human Rights Day.
I did not write anything that could remotely be interpreted by any rational person to mean that we shouldn't talk about human rights.

On the other hand, you did burp out "Mostly talk with scarce action". All I asked is what relevance does that have to the OP?
