I think you are both very lucky and you seem well-matched and genuinely happy on the whole. Good luck to you.
I imagine that even if there are some downsides to being a sex addict (or just someone with a high sex drive) they are mostly mitigated for you two. It must be a lot more difficult being a sex-addict, or even just having a high sex drive, and having a significant other who isn't or hasn't, or not having a significant other.
How long have you been a couple?
Another question. You seem to have a pastor who is very positive about your lifestyle. Is he fine with the masturbation part of it too? If so, do you think there's a chance he could ever become pope (or the equivalent if you're not Roman Catholics)? That would be cool. One less sin for many people to worry about.
Now that I think about it a bit...I wonder if one of the (possibly several) reasons masturbation is and was often or generally frowned upon is that it might be associated with or imply that the person doing it can't get a partner? We have a very common expression here about 'sad wankers' (which can just be applied to anyone deemed to be sad or a loser even if they're not masturbating).
I believe I once read (in a book on the history of sex written by a woman historian) that women masturbating was not as frowned upon as men, as often, in ancient history, around the world. Something about how the fluids released by a man were supposedly wasteful and the activity weakening, and those of a woman empowering, or more vital and beneficial, or something.
I think the ancient Greeks were more ok with it:
