If Trump is impeached, will the Republicans win the whitehouse anyway?

Had you actually bothered to read even just the Wiki article you sourced, you would have read that there were many such official declarations and numerous warnings written and sent and a years-long buildup that eventually led to the organized attack on Fort Sumter.

So, no, "people" did NOT "just go outside and started shooting."

And because you evidently not only have difficulty with reading comprehension, but with honesty as well, here is the Wiki piece specifically about the attack on Fort Sumter (emphasis mine):

The Battle of Fort Sumter (April 12–13, 1861) was the bombardment of Fort Sumter near Charleston, South Carolina by the South Carolina militia (the Confederate Army did not yet exist), and the return gunfire and subsequent surrender by the United States Army, that started the American Civil War. Following the declaration of secession by South Carolina on December 20, 1860, its authorities demanded that the U.S. Army abandon its facilities in Charleston Harbor. On December 26, Major Robert Anderson of the U.S. Army surreptitiously moved his small command from the vulnerable Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island to Fort Sumter, a substantial fortress built on an island controlling the entrance of Charleston Harbor. An attempt by U.S. President James Buchanan to reinforce and resupply Anderson using the unarmed merchant ship Star of the West failed when it was fired upon by shore batteries on January 9, 1861. South Carolina authorities then seized all Federal property in the Charleston area except for Fort Sumter.

During the early months of 1861, the situation around Fort Sumter increasingly began to resemble a siege. In March, Brigadier General P. G. T. Beauregard, the first general officer of the newly formed Confederate States Army, was placed in command of Confederate forces in Charleston. Beauregard energetically directed the strengthening of batteries around Charleston harbor aimed at Fort Sumter. Conditions in the fort, growing increasingly dire due to shortages of men, food, and supplies, deteriorated as the Union soldiers rushed to complete the installation of additional guns.

He notified the Governor of South Carolina, Francis W. Pickens, that he was sending supply ships, which resulted in an ultimatum from the Confederate government for the immediate evacuation of Fort Sumter, which Major Anderson refused. Looking at a number of polls and surveys, women do not support Trump. Generally Trump has about 50% support from men, and about 35% support from women. (50% = 35%)/2 = 42.%. Which is about what Trump's approval rating has been for about a year, more or less.

If Trump slithers out from impeachment and removal thanks to a swarm of stupid GOP senators, he is doomed anyway. If impeached, it may be that as things develop, Trump may lose some support, but that isn't necessary for his defeat. With a little luck, Trump may win a trifecta. Lack of support from women. Loss of support from impeachment and related scandals. and the US slipping into a recession.

He may still win the rural Red States yahoo vote, but he is losing the Blue State urban and suburban vote. And the swing states he won that made him president are slipping away from his grasp. I don't see much a way for him to pull a rabbit out of this decaying hat.

You might be overlooking something there.
Most states have voting systems that are vulnerable to attacks that will alter the vote count. Cheato's foreign allies (Pootey, MBS et al) will have had four years to prepare to take advantage of that fact. Who knows what technical information the Trump cabal (which includes some mfrs of voting machines) has leaked to them to help them subvert the election.
IMHO, it is possible that Trump will "win" re-election with around half of his opponent's popular vote total.
Something like that is likely, barring an army of whistleblowers of sufficient size to alarm republican Senators - if that's even possible.
 
There are other wild cards.
Depressed voter turnout on either side (always an unknown until late in the cycle)
Since we will likely have a choice of septuagenarians, any number of poor health episodes could be devastating -- and Trump is sure to harp on this no matter what. Remember the huge deal over Hillary's bout with the flu? (Bernie's heart attack was just acknowledged last night -- who knows where that leaves him?)
Job numbers/the Dow/manufacturing...not that Trump won't lie extravagantly about all of this
Trump's increasingly unhinged behavior
Potentially REAMS of additional leaks on Trump's felonies. Stay tuned.
