Matthew 5:43-48
Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Maybe not but there is a culture of lawlessness and vile behavior spreading. Either way this isn't good for victims of sexual abuse. We do know people as crazy as him will be in the coming administration. And Project 2025 opens the door for things like this to happen. Is this pastor going to have any power in the administration?
you could probably make money selling empty notebooks with a “Holy Bible” cover.
Obviously, the right wing Christian Nationalists haven't read their holy book.
Hopefully, enough people will prevent the worst from happening, but I thank you for bringing that organization to our attention. It's good to know that more people are becoming organized to drive attention to these horrible plans and work to fight against it. The ACLU is also working hard to fight a lot of the far right plansMaybe not but there is a culture of lawlessness and vile behavior spreading. Either way this isn't good for victims of sexual abuse. Only if they were signed by Trump, and of course, made in China with a fake leather cover.you could probably make money selling empty notebooks with a “Holy Bible” cover.

By in large, Christians do not understand the contents of the Bible.Where in the Christian holy book does it say to execute liars, assuming any woman actually lies about being sexually assaulted? Enquiring minds want to know.
Whatever happened to the stuff like:

I agree that no Christian that I've ever heard of sold all their own and gave it to the poor, but my evangelical mother read her Bible everyday and did donate to a lot of charities. Sadly, she also gave 10 percent to her evangelical hell fire and damnation church. I never could understand how she was swept up into that type of cult, when I was a young child.By in large, Christians do not understand the contents of the Bible.Where in the Christian holy book does it say to execute liars, assuming any woman actually lies about being sexually assaulted? Once Christianity was made the state religion by Rome, and with the procession of popes, the people of "bad faith" made a bad faith of Christianity like some Eldridge horror wearing a skin suit.
Of course they haven't read their book. They are encouraged not to, not the least reason of which it says repeatedly "sell all you own and give it to the poor".

Change something mostly pretty good with just a little bit of well-placed compromise to those values and you can in fact invent some of the *darkest* things imaginable, far darker than an "honest evil": evil that people mistake for goodnessthe people of "bad faith" made a bad faith of Christianity
