If you put that cardboard with Mussolini pictures taped to it down and keep your mouth shut you can avoid being mistreated whenever you wish. Black folks on the other hand can't hide what we look like. Just something to consider.

Someone doing something assholeish and provocative isn't brave. It's narcissistic and provocative. Carrying something hateful that brings scorn on you is a personal choice, not a "cross".

Of course people are treated better, generally, when they don't tell people that the first party to the exchange wishes to unilaterally and violently deprive them of their natural rights to self determination. That said, many people already act in a transparent way to deprive then of their natural right to self determination. Loudly proclaiming that this is your goal gives others full and enthusiastic consent for them to treat you as you say is your wont of others, and gives you no cause to respond, as while your statement expresses consent on your behalf, that consent doesn't reflect back on them even if they fulfill it. You have unilaterally consented to fascism* when yo attempt to foist it on others.

*not actually fascism because your actions constitute consent, but as a fascist you would probably call it that

I was, in my first post in the thread, tempted to post something dismissive about the utter childishness of this behavior of carrying around a handwritten request with visual aids for ANTIFA Punches. But then I realized I've seen assholes around the twin cities who do such bollocks as grown-ass adults well into their 30's and 40's. I mean, I might qualify as one of them, on account of the whole "Wizard" thing.

So I will make no assumptions about their age. Though on account of other experience I have, I will also offer that age precludes neither childishness nor innocence nor idealism. As to whether this is Childishness or Idealism, or both, that's up for debate
