The moderate Christians and the moderate Muslims need to join forces to stop the insanity -- would it work?
I suspect NobleSavage is referring to conservative/Evangelical Christians...the word "fundamentalist" is sort of out of favor with many groups. Though I wouldn't really agree with the sentiment. The Neocons, which has a large portion of the conservative/Evangelical Christians within them, are the dangerous ones IMPOV. But it has others like John McCain, who I don't think fits the religious label. And anyone who wants to be president pretty much has to prostitute themselves to the military-complex, as supported by Neocons. It becomes a heady mix of politics, money, and political ideology...fundy christians?
fundy christians?

The Christians that believe there is no such thing as a peaceful Muslim.
You think? I'd say the current ISIS problem was driven by the US destabilizing the middle east. The kids are over there have cell phones and are learning fast and they are saying they don't want to be apart of this violent nonsense. We can't. It's the fear of modernity that drives these movements.
What about the free thinkers out there that believe there is no such thing as a peaceful muslim? Are they cause for fear as well?

How about a kickstarter project for all non-believers to construct a space faring ark and get off this rock? We can come back after the apocalypse.
Much too radical an idea for moderates. Moderates are too busy working their jobs, raising their families, and paying their bills. I suppose we could join together for a rally but, you know parking's gonna be a bitch.

Just what do Muslims have to do to prove themselves as good people?
Not in our name – Muslims respond in revulsion to Charlie Hebdo massacre
