Importance of Under Roof Inspections

This is a reminder that when having an inspection done prior to purchase or investment it is just as important to have the under side of the roof inspected as the top side for reasons mad clear in the video.

 
Racoons will tear up roofs to get inside a house. A persistent raccoon can be a very big problem. I have had to trap a few and take them far away from the house.

Plus they tear out insulation to build a 'nest', piss and shit in the attic, bring fleas into the home, really stink if they die and rot in the attic, etc.

.......and rabies can become a problem with raccoons.

I never tore up a roof...

Then there is the issue of hamsters waddling about at night making a mess, chewing things up, and playing their guitars in the wee hours.
 
The thing to do with raccoons is to catch them in a humane trap, then feed them milk and biscuits for about 6 weeks. After that, roast in a 325 degree oven on an bed of chopped sweet potatoes. This recipe works just as well for possum.
