There's no financial institution remotely near me, and you know I have to get this check cashed, and there you are, a dinosaur, leading me through the jungle, laughing all the way, as I trek along to find what people in these parts regard as the bank of the river. That's just wrong.

Criminal even! Should such a person (or dinosaur) be locked up despite no crime in the law books?

If you're looking for liquidity, rivers are as good as banks, if not actually better.

Beware, though, if rivers of blood, be suspicious. A crime is likely to have been committed somewhere upstream.

I'm not sure rivers of blood would have banks, though. Liquidity, yes, banks, probably not necessary.
