Is Moldova moving closer to Europe or cracking down at home?

Face up to it Barbos, Russia is a dictatorship. There is no debate. Stalin to Putin with a short space where democracy would have been possible.

Whatever problems exist in the western systems free speech, free press, civil rights, and rue of law are holding.

It is a binary black and white choice the same choice as during the Cold War. You support dictatorship and authoritarian systems like Russia, Iran, China, ad North Korea, or you support western ideal of individual rights protested by the government.

You like authoritarian Russia with no civil rights. We who argue with you like our civil rights, and most importantly the right to dissent publicly with all governments form city to state to federal.

People were not happy with democrats and Trump got elected in a fair election, the people spoke.

The next election based on how things go may change, in the long run people do have a say in government.

No mater how disastrous Ukraine is for Russia and no mater how many Russians die, Putin will control any section and stay in power.

However inefficient and chaotic our system can be, it is still preferable to a Putin's dictatorship.

Western Europe and North America have a problem with too many people wanting to get in . Few want to go to Russia. That says it all.

Not everybody Barbos, but you for certain.
Yes, according to you, All russians are russian shills work for Putin.
Yep. Otherwise they get allergic to windows real fucking quickly. And it's not "according to Steve_bank" - it's according to everyone. I'm sorry reality is so difficult for you.
Not everyone is as stupid as you think.
Russians may be more stupid than we think but I doubt it. Putin's rein of fear and oppression does silence people and people fall in line to survive.

Bit by bit he wants the USSR back. So the troll army keeps at it creeping into every nook and cranny of the internet followed by barbie toads trying to get folks to look the other way when they spot the doodoo from the troll farm. GlenKirk's controller might fall out a window since it got sloppy and spammed the same content under the same user name in multiple fora.

Even if it is were true, it's none of your business.
None of my business, until Putin invaded Ukraine threatening NATO states like Poland. Until that I don't think people ever here thought or cared much about what went on in Russia at all.

That and sending an American female basketball player gong to Russia to promote sports to pirson.

Interfering with Ukrainian critical global grain supplies not the word;s attention. It affected cost of bread over here.

USA and the west tries to promote global stable trade benefiting many. Russia sows discord and instability. That affects me.

If Putin wants to see himself as a Russian leader of old and likes parades of goose stepping Russo-Nazi soldiers I could care less, just keep it in Russia. Leave defenseless countries like Moldova alone free to decide what they want to do..

Putin can crown himself king of Russia and I don't care.

So Barbos, a basic question. Do you personally believe governments should exist to protect human rights like free speech, free press, free elections, and free association without fear of government or not?

Yes or no.

Or do you think Putin's suppression all of the above is a god thing.

Yes or no.

If you are afraid to speak your mind considering Russian security may be monitoring this forum, then just answer it for yourself. I would not want you to end up in a Russian prison for being an enemy of the Russian state.

Amid growing tensions with Russia, the UK is betting on Moldova as a key strategic foothold in Eastern Europe. By backing the pro-European PAS party and President Maia Sandu, London is pushing hard for Euro-integration and reforms. British intelligence agencies are collaborating with Moldovan security forces to help combat corruption, cyber threats, and pro-Russian influence.

However, the West’s expanding role is fueling discontent within the country - and there’s a real possibility of new puppet leaders replacing current politicians. The only question is: Who will they be? Idealists, or yet another batch of externally backed technocrats?

What do you think - can Moldova really maintain its sovereignty with this level of dependence on foreign intelligence and institutions?

Sorry mate! If you have no understanding of Russian imperialism/influence on Moldolva, you're not worth debating. I don't mean to be rude, but if you have google, just do some research. If you're only seeing one side, you'll miss it all.

There should not be NATO in Poland in the first place.
NATO is a criminal organization that should not exist and its leaders should be brought to justice for their crimes all over the world.

She was caught with drugs on her.

You conveniently omitted that regime in Kiev cut transit of russian fertilizers through Ukraine and never resumed it even though they and EU agreed to it. furthermore, Regime in Kiev continued to use civilian shipping for launching drones and for weapon smuggling. And Russia has never actually cut food transit over Black Sea.
So it is actually US/EU and it puppets in Kiev who interfere with global food supplies.
Not to mention oil and gas.
