ISIS in their own words

It's not what we are doing in the Middle East that causes their violence, it's the fact that we don't kowtow to Islam.

To their self-appointed righteous version of Islam. ISIS is killing plenty of Muslims. Far, far, far more than they are killing Westerners.

Yeah....they don't need to step on Texas' toes.....

Hurrah!

U.S.-backed forces have seized full control of the northern Syrian city of Manbij near the Turkish border after the last remaining Islamic State fighters, who had been using civilians as human shields, left, a spokesman for the group said Friday.

Even if you were to pay jizyah
and live under the authority of Islam in humiliation,
we would continue to hate you. No doubt, we would
stop fighting you then as we would stop fighting any
disbelievers who enter into a covenant with us, but we
would not stop hating you.
Once again, your link does not quite say what you claim.

BTW, the West has not been kowtowing to Islam for decades, so why did ISIL pop up so recently?

I kind of thought ISIS was not so good a long time ago.

We should not have invaded Iraq which is what most strengthened them.

We're using Special Operations and drones against them.

A massive ground invasion could wipe them out. And then what would arise out of that a decade later?

Anyway, no will at all after a worthless decade long occupation of Iraq.

Buddy: did you miss the news?!! According to Trump, Obama and HRC founded ISIS!

Look at the top of page 33.

Now can you apologists quit ascribing them motives they explicitly deny? Or do you not care one bit about the truth?

Very few people will disagree with fact that ISIS do pose a threat to the Muslim and non Muslim world, but to try and find something coherent or rational in its motives will be an impossibility.

I disagree. Their motive is very coherent. Maybe not rational, but death and subjection to all but strictly observant Sunnis seems coherent.

Page 33 is clear in that they hate anything non ISIS (which would even include Muslims) but once they took power they would then turn on each other since there are also different splinter factions who for the time being are tilting at windmills with them. It does remind me of the Nazis when the Jews were being scapegoated, where real their agenda was really to wipe out all Jews and other 'non desirables.' This is somewhat more overt but would suggest based on their conduct this something which not only exists now but will be done en masse. A lot of Muslims would also be exterminated.

Nice job of skipping the spot you were directed to in order to take things out of context.

I posted it because there are those on the left that keep blaming us for the actions of ISIS.

Kill just about anyone (even their own supporters) is clear by way of the way such fanatics act. How they think from day to day will not always be so clear, including paranoia where leaders turn on their own allies friends and family for fear they too will be removed.

Quite a lot do but they are off target. However, you may not agree with much of what he says but Galloway described this as creating a power vacuum by removing the (oppressive) leaders in power thus creating a perfect breeding ground. Hence this is not a sheeples' revolution as fantasied by many Greens and Left wingers.

The US didn't do too much about ISIS in Syria till the Russians bombed them (and just about anything else surrounding them). At least Sadam. Gaddafi and Bashar kept the lid on these groups. We are not doing too much about ISIS in Europe where people go on holiday to Syria from Turkey with fake passports. Such trips should be a one way ticket.

I beg your pardon - we are permitted to read more than your cherry-picked snippets. According to ISIS, they would stop the violence even though they would still hate us. So the issue is not that we do not kowtow to Islam.

Nice job of skipping past the question of "BTW, the West has not been kowtowing to Islam for decades, so why did ISIL pop up so recently?".

I never thought anyone would claim Trump is on the left. And he blames Obama and HRC for starting ISIS.

HRC simply built a sewer as an aftermath to regime change where ISIS now wallows in the vacuum left.

Wait - what? Is there some dictionary I'm unaware of where kowtowing means religious conversion, and not submission? Or would you happily pay jizyah and 'live under the authority of Islam in humiliation' since it doesn't require kowtowing? The mind boggles.

To answer your second question - because they didn't have the opportunity. Pan-Arabism has existed as an ideology for at least a hundred years, with Gaddafi himself trying to create a unified Islamic state. Trying to lay this at the feet of Western intervention in the Middle-East misses that the Libyan Civil War was a worker's movement as was Syria. Considering the core organization predates 2001, I think they would have been able to capitalize on the regional instability regardless of Western involvement in Iraq - simply with slightly less territory.

To say they popped up recently is to say that Rudolph and McVeigh popped up recently. You just weren't paying attention.

I disagree. Their motive is very coherent. Maybe not rational, but death and subjection to all but strictly observant Sunnis seems coherent.

Killing everything around them and then each other is the only really coherent thing about them. For instance living under an ISIS authority would soon deteriorate to forced conversion and execution of non believers and the right to rape non ISIS Muslim women. That is after the tax has been collected and their possessions looted. Then they would turn on each other. Living under ISIS will be as safe as living under Pol Pot, and the for the Jews under Nazi rule in Germany.

ISIS is violent cult obsessed with inhibitions and compulsions regarding sex.Though there is no true Scotsman, one feature of ISIS fanatics is they would have the Koran in one hand and the pecker in the other.

Even true paradise is warped with sexual obsessions, where a martyr will live in eternity with a 72 year old virgin. Its leaders have the logic of someone with Syphilis of the brain and it reflects in what is written.

Did you notice the conditions on stopping the violence???
