You could also look at gender-specific dress codes for women upheld by trqditional Chrisianity and how women have rebelled against them.

Note how Islamic extremist appreciate women's intelligence by shooting and kidnapping girl students and closing down schools for women in Pakistan, Afganistan and Nigeria.
Post pictures of sex-segregated worship in contemporary Islam and desegregated worship in Christianity.

And of course, the matter of far greater sartorial choice in Western countries, and of acknowledgement that different clothes for women (and men) may be suitable for different public functions rather than the uniformity of the burqua or niquab or hijab depending on which Islamic regiment a woman finds herself.

While I reject that the term "biologism" has any valid meaning with respect to any ideas and arguments people actually make (much like "scientism") it is certainly the case that the defenders of the cartoon that accused the OP of "biologism" are closely to engaging in it themselves. But then, incoherence, internal contradiction, and hypocrisy are the hallmarks of most post-modernism.

How would you respond to the claim that "Islam doesn't oppress women, men do"?

Considering that the religion known as Islam presents a variety of doctrines and schools of thoughts derived from various interpretations of their scriptures, considering that those schools of thoughts vary from fundamentalist conservative to liberal and moderate, it would be a broad wide brush painting of Islam to declare "it oppresses women" or "it does not oppress women". However, like any monotheist religion originating from a heavily patriarchal society, we certainly can conclude that the trend has been to maintain women into a state of inferiority compared to men. By restricting women's access to education and health care as one example of how such patriarchal mentalities will oppress women. That is quite evident in Muslim nations with a theocratic regime.

In any religion where men dominate and have been the rulers, we may expect that men are the source of oppression of women. Again, ancestral patriarchal mentalities carrying over ,into the modern world, the exercise of practices and traditions which will be expected from women. Strict compliance with gender roles being a trait of fundamentalist conservative movements within Islam. Whereas liberal movements within Islam have promoted reforms benefiting women to where they are not expected to comply any longer. It is to be noted though that it took activism on the part of women themselves to gain enough support to see those reforms materialize.

I guess what I am contending here is that the religion itself was created by heavily patriarchal societies. The religion becoming the vector for men to pursue to dominate and subjugate women to their domination and resulting oppression.
