Slaveowners could have slaves they were very fond of - the question of friendship has nothing whatever to do with racism. The huge problem with the Jews is the uncertainty as to whether they are members of a religion a religion, a culture group marked in males by a lack of foreskins and a few other varying characteristic or a 'race', whatever that might be. For my money, but for gentile hatred, racism, whatever you want to call it, non-religious Jews would be like non-religious Huguenot- just ordinary people in whatever society they were members of, with a fascinating family history to boast about. I know and respect some religious Jews, but ex-Jews (or whatever) strike me like 'Welsh' or 'black' people in this country, people likely to be on the right side unless I find out otherwise, good types, people to be trusted.

I doubt he cares, wherever he is! On the general point, fascists put forward any old drivel that will help them smash workers' organisations and save capitalism. Many of them really believe this drivel, but many don't.
