I recall figuring it out rather quickly -- it was the four canonical Gospels.

See, I understood that it was about the gospels quickly too, but I felt absolutely NO amusement about the reference. I think everyone is figuring it out, but it just isn't funny. You can make a juxtaposition between this hurricane and the gospels and get a laugh out of it, but saying "Mark, Luke, and John, come get your boy" over the picture of a hurricane just isn't funny to me.

Hmm, let's try a different approach: Why did Mark Luke and John cross the road?
