Le Monde is reporting that a mob of far left activists murdered a right-winger in Lyon a few days ago.
Pardon my French, but the English language media doesn't seem to have picked up the story yet. According to Google Translate,
The investigation into the death of Quentin D. is progressing in Lyon after "several significant testimonies," according to the prosecutor. The investigation is focusing on a scene of violence that followed clashes between radicalized groups on Thursday, February 12, near Sciences Po Lyon, where a conference by LFI MEP Rima Hassan was being held. While politicized narratives clash, the judicial authorities are proceeding cautiously regarding the circumstances of the fatal attack on Quentin D., 23, a student and nationalist activist, who was brutally beaten on the afternoon of Thursday, February 12, during clashes between radicalized groups in the streets of Lyon. “The police have collected several significant witness statements. The investigation is now focused on identifying the direct perpetrators of the criminal and correctional violence,” stated the Lyon prosecutor’s office in a brief press release issued Sunday, announcing at the same time that a press conference with the public prosecutor, Thierry Dran, would be held Monday afternoon. On Sunday evening, on France 2, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez referred to a "lynching," asserting that the investigation should "confirm" or "refute" the hypothesis of the "far left" and "members of the Young Guard," while stating: "Clearly, it's the far left."The judicial authorities are providing no further details, keen to protect the investigation, which appears to be progressing. The preliminary investigation, initially opened for "aggravated violence," has been expanded to include the charges of "fatal assault aggravated by three circumstances: the involvement of a group, the use of weapons, and the concealment of the body."
France 24 is carrying it in English if you tube.

Nothing new here though, eh? When and where one chooses to voice their opinion or even walk the streets determines the level of danger they put themselves in, doesn't it? This has always been the case, hasn't it?
Take this for example:
Female Israeli soldiers rescued after being chased by ultra-Orthodox men
The ultra-Orthodox population has more than doubled its share of Israel's population over the past seven decades, and now accounts for 14%.
