Legalized pot: 25% decrease in painkiller deaths

They had best take enough to make it through their trip. It is no crime to carry your prescription drugs across state lines.

But you can't fill C2's ahead, if your travel dates cross a prescription fill that means you can't go.
If a person just walks in they will find it difficult.

If your doctor contacts the pharmacy ahead of time and explains the situation it is more likely you will get your drugs.

Then the pharmacist has time to check out the doctor.

Non, Loren. It is only a matter of the initial pharmacy out of state to transfer the order of refill to a pharmacy in the State the patient will be visiting. If the initial script was filled in a CVS in let's say Georgia, the refill order from the prescribing physician will be at the same CVS pharmacy. The only thing the patient visiting Florida needs to do is to go to a CVS pharmacy in Florida, informing them he has a refill at a specific CVS pharmacy in Georgia (giving address and phone number). The CVS in Georgia will then transfer the refill order to the CVS one in Florida.
