Less than full disclosure, is that a thing?

Here's something to think about.

When the 911 Commission was being formed, the chairs were filled with former Senators, Congressmen, and other elected officials. Henry Kissinger, who never elected to any office, was asked to be the Chairman of the Commission. He turned it down.
Part of being o the Commission included a disclosure of business interests. Kissinger had a very successful consulting business and chose to decline, rather than publish a list of all the US politicians, business leaders, and foreign official who paid him for his services.


I wonder if our new President's cabinet will have the same problem? It's apparent the President is not going to reveal his sources of income. Will anyone else have to do so? If so, who's likely to drop out before it comes to that?

This is the main reason politics is filled with politicians and not with businessmen.
