I wasn't sure how RvW was going to impact the midterms, but I think the Republicans are going overboard on anti-abortion activism instead of simply saying "we finally won". That will cost them.

It was radicals like Terry McAuliffe who helped push the public away on the abortion issue. Now it is radicals among state level Republicans who are helping to push the public back the other way.

Still, I think the economy will be a larger issue even then.

In Kansas, the attempt to amend the Kansas Constitution to ban abortion was shot down 59% to 40% with 88% of the vote counted so far. It looks like abortion may be a big losing issue for the GOP if this is an indication. Turn out was heavy for an off presidential election year. Lots of angry women are turning out to vote.

Biden seems to be gaining in the polls, although he is still negative. The Republicans still look poised to take the House, but the Senate is now up for grabs.
