Manslaughter conviction of 21-year-old Oklahoma woman who suffered miscarriage sparks outcry
Pregnancy advocates and others on social media are expressing outrage after a 21-year-old Oklahoma woman was convicted of first-degree manslaughter earlier this month for having a miscarriage, which the prosecutor blamed on her alleged use of methamphetamine.

Brittney Poolaw, who is a member of the Comanche Nation, according to the Comanche County Detention Center, was sentenced on October 6 by a jury to four years in state prison. Poolaw's attorney filed a notice of intent to appeal on October 15.

I'm having a hard time seeing how a charge like this could have ever come forth to begin with, forget getting sentenced! Abortion is legal, the fetus was less than 5 months into development. The fetus isn't a living human being. And this is ignoring that they can't prove that drugs caused the miscarriage.

So they have an undocumented cause of death of something that can't die because it hasn't been born yet. And even if she tried to use drugs to abort, is there a law against that in Oklahoma for fetuses less than 5 months into development?

This is less outrageous and more in the sphere of completely unbelievable.

Soon, Texas women crossing state lines to get abortions will be arrested for child trafficking.

Heck, Texas will probably make sex with a pregnant woman (18+) convictable of sex involving a minor.
And fetuses are illegals too because you don’t become a US Citizen until you are born, according to the Constitution.
