Mango Mussolini pardons two redneck scumbags for no reaon whatsoever....

President Trump has granted pardons to two Oregon cattle ranchers — Dwight Lincoln Hammond, Jr., 76, and his son Steven Hammond, 49 — after they were imprisoned for setting fire to federal land, the White House said on Tuesday.

Those are the two who's imprisonment inspired the redneck scumbag take over of the Federal Wildlife Refuge building in Oregon. The scumbags who did not get convicted despite making threats against federal agents, and were associated with the Bundys. Of course, two of the people from the Bundy ranch standoff went on to murder cops in Vegas. But hey, these are white conservatives so they are not terrorists.

Wel, not NO reason.
They whined that if they had to serve out their entire sentence, no one's working their ranch.
The ranch they set fire to, to hide evidence of the crimes they had committed...burning over a hundred acres of land they didn't own...
Gosh, golly! Some people might face consequences from criminal behavior! Can't have that.

He pardoned them but hadn't they served time already, like a good deal of it? I can live with this, they have served time for what they did. Now if Trump pardons the people convicted of the occupation...

The Hammonds were initially given sentences of three months to a year. But Trump blamed the Obama administration for filing an "overzealous appeal" because the judge's sentence was too lenient under federal sentencing guidelines. That appeal sent the Hammonds back to prison.
No, what we meant with mandatory sentencing guidelines was that blacks and browns should have mandatory minimum sentencing... not white people.

Trump pardoning Joe Arpaio, and now this.

Seems like the Weimar Republic, with Adolf Hitler getting off easy after his failed Munich beer-hall coup. When he was put on trial, the judges allowed him to rant at length about how he was a great German patriot and how it was the Weimar government that was the real traitors. He got a year in jail.

Well, to be fair, a year seems to have been sufficient to make him into a model citizen. The guy even ended up leading the nation - a fine example of the rehabilitative powers of short prison terms.

And let us not forget that, after a concerted effort by half of the population of Europe, he was the only man who finally managed to kill Hitler.

pResident Trump has also pardoned Dinesh D'Souza and Scooter Libby.

DDS had gotten in trouble for illegal campaign contributions, and SL got in trouble with his involvement in a leak of certain CIA information during the presidency of George Bush II.

Actually Libby got in trouble for making false statements. No one was actually held legally liable for the mother of all politically motivated leaks because the President has that much latitude to work with. And Trump is really trying to find the boundaries of the power.
