At what point do come to the conclusion that your liberal immigration policy of the last 30 years might have a flaw?

Paris Terror Attacks Leave 60 Dead, 100 Hostages
The worst attack in the history of the French capital is underway.
A coordinated assault by multiple terrorists is underway in Paris.

Police say the gunmen—as many as six—were armed with Kalashnikovs and grenades and killed at least 60 people so far, according to BFMTV.

Some 100 people are believed to be held hostage in the Bataclan theater after a performance by American rock band Eagles of Death Metal.

According to the French daily Liberation, a witness to the Bataclan shooting heard one of the shooters shout “Allahu Akhbar.”

The office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, where al Qaeda affiliates Said and Cherif Kouachi killed 12 and left 11 wounded last January, is a seven-minute walk from the Bataclan.

Eyewitnesses have described bodies lying dead in the street in what U.S. officials are already suggesting is another coordinated series of terrorist attacks—the worst in the French capital since the Hebdo shooting, which was followed a day later by an ISIS-inspired shooting at the Hypercasher kosher marketplace on the outskirts of Paris.

The first known attack was on the Petit Cambodge restaurant in Paris's 10th arrondissement.

Almost simultaneously, reports of explosions came from the Stade de France, just north of Paris, where France and Germany were playing in a soccer match. President François Hollande was in attendance and safely evacuated. At least three people were reportedly killed and 80,000 evacuated.

All the gunman are reportedly on the loose. It is not known who they are or what terrorist group, if any, they are associated with.

French police have told all residents in the Paris metropolitan area to stay indoors.

You just spout hate. There is a reason this stuff is happening. You don't know what it is in this particular case, but it truly is not a matter of refugees. These attackers had the money to get guns and bullets and perhaps even some training so they could do what they did. There of course was a reason behind their actions and it smell of revenge. Revenge...there is a long history of French government intervention and colonization in Africa. They never had any compunction regarding dropping bombs on these people. So some of them finally made their way to Paris...and you have what you have...a perfect storm. The refugees are there because their countries have been ruined with European military intervention and destabilization. France is not an innocent country in this matter. It is their intractable positions and ready use of military force overseas that gives the appearance of truth to what the Jihadist teachers tell their victims.

Give in to demands of terrorists -- NO. Go in with guns blazing -- YES!

Giving in to hostage-takers has to always lead to greater harm in the long run.

If need be, they might have to sacrifice these hostages.

They cannot give in to the emotional impulse to feel sorry for the hostages and their families and make any concessions to these terrorists.

The instant gratification of yielding to any demands leads to worse harm later. Europeans have already given in to demands of terrorists like these, giving ransom money to hostage-takers. Today's attack is probably a consequence of such wrong policies.

Going in with force to put down the aggressors is the only way to respond, if we want to protect innocent lives in the future.

Wow. You're already blaming the French for this. By the 4th post. Well done, arkirk. Well done.

Yeah, let's not be objective or anything and let emotion take over.

Is there any objective evidence about the gunmen at this time that would lead a rational person to ask such a question?

 When should he have said it instead? In the 8th or 12th post? What preliminaries should have come first before pointing out there’s a history behind this sort of thing?

My apologies. The blame-the-victim-first if they're evil white Europeans should have reflexively been in the first post. Max, play attention.

There is a history behind this but it goes back a lot further that arkirk would like to believe.

I know. Arkirk was right on it. Bravo.

But where is the arbitrary cutoff? Can we go back to Charles Martel to justify the French, or do we pick a different date to fit a selective political narrative?

And are you going to tell their families in person?

DO we have any idea who is behind this?

I know. Arkirk was right on it. Bravo.
You blamed France's immigration policy in the 2nd post on the thread and you're getting all uppity and outraged at him for blaming France's foreign policy a couple of posts later?

Shots are now being heard at concert hall. Escaped hostages begging Police to go into hall. Hostages being executed one-by-one.

Up to 6 locations attacked in City.

BREAKING: 5 explosions heard at concert hall. Unknown number of people just now murdered.

BREAKING: Police Assault Under Way at Concert Hall.

And do we even know who is behind this? It could be some right-wing anti-immigrant group, or a fringe group trying to reestablish the Kingdom of Burgundy. Let's wait until more facts are out until we start the fear mongering.

Well it's not so long ago that Brevik killed 90 people and he was a right wing anti-immigrant like you.
