Pissed Palin

Why should we expect competence in our politicians, when the Congressional Committee on Science, Space and Technology is staffed by creationists, climate-change deniers and biological imbeciles?

When she is sober, she is a useless human being. Who cares if she was drunk?

It was an regular video They slow it down to mock her. instead of picking apart her views. I just don't fair to her.

Is this some sort of meta joke I'm missing out on?

Yah, that's obviously slowed down. I don't see the point, since her views and ideas are thoughtless tripe and she really seems only capable of regurgitating nonsense, much like a parrot. There's no need to make up accusations with such an easy target. I do wish she would go away though. I get really tired of her and I think she's seriously a national embarrassment.

The joke is on the people who see video footage of a famous politician who appears to be seriously impaired and take it at face value. If any of these video clips were real, all of us would have known about Palin's public drunkeness, the same way we know Paris Hilton and Britney Spears don'e wear panties.

Instead of mocking him, we should debate his views. After all he might be our next president
I think there are too many Republicans in this country to allow that to happen.

Remember Nixon, he could have an political comeback. With Obama's drop in the polls the dems will likely lost the senate this fall. With these developments Romney will looking good to the voters in 2016.

I agree but a lot of voters agree with her views. She may be ditsy but don't underestimate her.

Surely there are other recordings of this event for comparison, to determine is she was phonoshopped or not.

Tom Sawyer is right, you can't underestimate Palin. It isn't possible. However, you shouldn't underestimate the drive of some people to believe what they want to hear. That is what gives Palin the alleged legitimacy she supposedly has.

That virus is spreading, with even a member here starting to be vocal about King Obama (something that has been online for a little bit now).

Romney will still be a Mormon, still be the poster child for the billionaire boys club, and still be the candidate that "let that black guy" beat him.

There is no come back there.

As for Palin, she's trying to relevant again. She won't succeed. She has gone from Governor of Alaska to failed reality tv show star. What put her on the national stage was that she was a sitting governor and she was a woman and could counter the blackness of Obama. The Democratic nominee won't be black this time and she's not an unknown property anymore.

This is a great disservice to the ditsy of the world. Palin benefited and suffered from being in the right place at the wrong time. The GOP needed an unfamiliar face and name to serve as a sacrifice for the party. John McCain had no political future beyond the campaign and no other Republican of note or merit would touch the VP role. Palin's advantage was she was willing to do it. The GOP's disadvantage was she was unknown and there was not time to get to know her. She was inarticulate and that was passed off as "plain spoken." She was poorly educated and that was passed off as "common sense" in the same way high school drop outs in the lower 48 claim to have "street smarts".

It didn't seem to bother her to rail against government handouts for those who do nothing to earn them, while she was born and raised in a state which distributes oil revenue checks to every citizen, regardless of whether they own any land with oil under it, or did any kind of oil related work. The list of these kinds of intellectual feebleness goes on and on, but please don't call it ditsy.
