Police accountability

So they shot and killed him after he got out of his car because he allegedly endangered people while he was previously in his car. Is that your story?

Yes. The cops from his previous disregard for life had a reasonable suspicion that he would still be a threat to other people if he got away.
Since the guy was on foot, how would this suspicion of possible threat be reasonable?

No they didn't. Fleeing from cops is not a shootable offense.

Riiighhhtttt. Unarmed and on foot. BIG threat YUGE threat! The biggest threat ever! Certainly way bigger than anything those cops had ever seen

Let's see how the investigation goes. The problem is that it takes a long time for it to conclude.

By itself yes, but the police officer does have discretion in that decision and somebody that has been a threat to other people in the chase....but we'll see where the investigation goes.

But you assume he fled rather than do something like charge at the cop.
Since the reports mention fleeing, it is not an assumption.

That is non-responsive. Why would anyone think it is reasonable to conclude that an unarmed person fleeing on foot is a threat to others?

Actually reading the accounts it's not apparent what happened. There are no great details of what happened. Most of the stories just assumed Harris got out of the car and started trying to use sign language to the cop but was killed for talking sign language.

Yeah, because that's the path that stirs controversy. These days the news cares far more about stirring the pot than the truth.
