It looks like this comment has the right wingers severely butthurt. They have picked up the meme that being a bar tender isn't qualfication for being a congress women and writing our laws and criticizing the Trumps. AOC has a degree from Boston University in economics and foreign affairs (graduating cum laude) and was an intern for Senator Ted Kennedy.

Ivanka? She graduated from Georgetown University cum laude, to her credit, in economics. She runs a successful business. So AOC and IT are about equal in education. But not seemingly in judgment. The G20 leaders seem to have let us know what they think of her.
That probably counts for more than the usual right wing trolls.
 
Gotta say, my first question is, did she graduate cum laude? When a Trump says they did something of note, it’s an “extraordinary claim,” so extraordinary evidence is required.

Her husband has a law degree and seems even dumber, so degrees don't necessarily impart intelligence, BullShit MoreShit PiledhigherandDeeper and all. Ivanka's intelligence is less the issue than her complete and utter lack of any relevant experience in the field of (or any field remotely tangent to) diplomacy.
 
If you're old enough to remember the Carter presidency, the Right split a gut laughing when Carter quoted his daughter Amy on nuclear proliferation -- and that was simply a reference to a private family discussion in the WH. It became a never-ending trope about how clueless Carter was, to listen to a child and then inflict her thoughts on the public. Trump's kids strut around like privileged attaches (which they are) with an inherited expertise (which, like Pops, they will never have.)
 
It's a funny moment but please don't let it overshadow the fact that everyone having that conversation is an awful person
 
A few good ones, but mostly stinkers. It seems absurd that the most ridiculous of the photoshops... wasn't actually a photoshop, where she is in a pic with the world leaders.

I remember the right wing going into hysterics over how Hillary Clinton was supposedly co-president. But after her husband's presidency, she then distinguished herself as US Senator and Secretary of State. She didn't act like some vapid nincompoop who got her position out of nepotism.

Where is the nepotism in any of this?

I think that Ivanka Trump would not be as strongly criticized if she showed some competence. HC showed that she was not just a politician's wife, but a good politician and administrator in her own right. The closest that IT has ever come is managing her fancy-clothes business.
