While your post about the composition of student bodies in public versus private schools was on balance polite and substantive, statements such as this open a door through which an opponent in a debate will almost always back out. This is especially true if the believer is a “true believer” with a belief that rests on their own created world where belief is maintained through confirmation bias and other unconscious psychological tricks. It doesn’t matter if you are dealing with a 9/11 truther, a believer in Chemtrails and government control of the weather, or a young earth creationist.

I did refute all of your false assertions and misrepresentations with real facts and valid graphs (and valid statistical reasoning that all your sources and posts lack), in the two prior posts that I linked from this one and that you blindly ignored.

One thing that I have learned when arguing with conspiracy theorists at metabunk.org is that they will usually focus on slights, real or perceived, as a deflection from factual argument when they are cornered and do not have facts in their favor. As such, the owner of that forum has a fairly strict politeness policy that attempts to prevent people from giving the believer and opportunity for deflection. No matter how insulting the believer gets, just harp on the facts and leave it at that. Accept that the believer will try to steer the conversation into the ditch when his unsupported assertions are challenged. I’ve watched many a conspiracy theorist go off on Gish Gallops just like YECs back when debating YEC was thing. Then when someone makes a snarky comment all fact based discussion ceases and the thread devolves into the theorist claiming persecution by skeptic bullies and paid shills.
I fully acknowledge that this post violates the “stick to the facts” policy by analyzing a posting style but the cart is already driven of the road here.

I intended to, but then I thought it through and realised that to do so would be a complete waste of time.

Rational argument is best kept for situations where a change of mind on the part of the respondent is at least a slight possibility. If someone refuses to think for themselves, it is futile to try to do it for them.

USA has lots of private schools. Lots of kids that are home schooled. I find it bizarre that you just assume that the people in the above clips were educated in state financed schools. What´s your evidence?

That's the common strategy to avoid arguing facts. They take the arrogant tone and slip in the insults to start. As soon as someone takes that bait and either reciprocates with an insult or even simply addresses the insults instead of sticking to facts then the believer/evangelist will deflect the conversation in that direction.

I attempted to argue for a time with a guy who believes that NEXRAD and HAARP are controlling the weather. He claimed that various non-precipitation returns that show up on publicly available weather radar imagery were evidence of weather control in action. All I did was explain how weather radar works and what were the various sources of the non-precipitation returns he was viewing. His immediate response was to call me a sheeple. Then he called me a shill. Then he claimed that I was attacking and insulting him. As soon as I got frustrated and insulted him then he ran with it. I and all the other debunkers were bullies/shills.

I’ve learn a few main things about arguing with true believers whether it be YEC, religious/political fundamentalists, conspiracy theorists.
1. You will not change their mind. Your arguing with them reinforces their view.
2. They will misrepresent what you say and try to get you to insult them
3. If you insult them then that will become the focus of the discussion.
4. There is an audience. Just hammer the facts and allow the believer to be the dickhead. People reading will see that the believer is wrong and an ass no matter how much the believer claims victory when he decides to take his ball and run home when he cannot win point on fact.
5. Stick to the facts and if they Gish Gallop then pick a few larger claims in the Gallop and hammer those

5a. Example in this thread is the list of math and science scores by country and the fact that the countries that are kicking our butts have very much socialist public education systems. Pin him down on that point. Everytime it is ignored that is evidence to non-believers that the evangelist is stumped.

5b. If the guy is just an ass you can always just ignore him knowing that he's not convincing anybody of anything no matter how much he boasts.

So, you can't actually point to anything posted before your comment that could have prompted you to make that comment. It is good to know that you just marched in here flinging insults at atheists in general, and at this fourm in particular, and expected to be respected and accepted by the group as a whole. I'm sorry, but it doesn't work that way. You had a chip on your shoulder, and it got promptly knocked off. We do not automatically respect any theists here, and if you plan to stay for any length of time, you might want to get used to vulgarities because for the most part we could give a fuck if you are offended by our language.

Can you show this?
Count the posts where, say, the f-word is used and see how many of them are used 'against Christains?' Because you've used 'overwhelmingly' before and the facts were against your claim. At least, you've never justified it.

And since you've also claimed in one post to be the only Christain conservative on the board, it would be really clear if the only time people used vulgarity was in response to you. It'll also be very clear if people use it in lots of places that have fuck-all to do with you.

I think this claim of yours is a crock of fecal matter that you can't support and won't even try to because facts are to conservative whiners as lights are to cockroaches in a kitchen.
